♥ Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s original Fine Jewelry creations, this precious, limited-edition accessory is embossed with a feather motif in the shape of a camellia.

Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss

Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss has been released in Malaysia

What I Say :

♥ Although in the pan it looks very silvery and icy, but it looks totally different when swatched. It gives a natural looking glow to the skin and you won’t be looking like an ice queen afterwards. It definitely has a subtle golden tones.

♥ The powder doesn’t feel chalky and it goes on smoothly when swatched.

♥ You need to be light-handed when using this highlighter so people won’t think like, wow this girl obviously has a highlighter on her cheeks! And besides, who wanna ruin that beautiful intricate design anyway? I might not use it so often like my other highlighters 😀

♥ I swatched it using my finger but normally I would use my Sigma F35 Tapered Highlighting Brush or my Sephora Fan Brush

In Comparison To : Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal

♥ Becca’s opal looks more yellow and has a slight champagne-ish gold tones which makes it look more intense while Chanel’s Camélia De Plumes has a slight golden plus the tiniest bit of silver gleam to it but not too much

♥ Becca’s shimmer is finely milled but looks a little over the top meanwhile the Chanel one although it goes on smooth but the shimmer particles doesn’t show up much hence the subtle highlight

♥ Swatches are blended and buffed to the skin using finger only thus it didn’t look too harsh

Likes :

♥ Beautiful design

♥ Gives a natural highlighted look, it looks somewhat you ‘glow from within’

Dislikes :

♥ Upon unboxing, I catch an odd smell, something like a ‘new car’ smell? I don’t know what smell it was but it doesn’t linger too long
