REVIEW // Dior Makeover Workshop & Diorskin Star Foundation

Hello hello!

So last weekend I went to a Dior workshop in Parkson Pavilion Mall KL. It was free of charge and you get to have a Dior Star makeover plus a 1 on 1 session with Dior Makeup Artist. Well, the MUA that did my makeover was Zaidi Zain, he was very friendly and informative on explaining to me how to do a proper skincare routine and makeup application. You can ask him to do a specific look or just tell him to do whatever look he feels suitable, but I chose for a subtle smokey eye look cause smokey eye is the one thing I just can’t master! Ugh.

REVIEW // Guerlain Météorites Perles D’Étoile (Holiday 2014 Collection “Un Soir À L’Opéra”)

Hello hello!

So I finally got my hands on the Guerlain Météorites Perles D’Étoile (earlier) which is part of Guerlain’s 2014 holiday collection. I got so excited when I saw an Instagram post by a fellow makeup lover, Ms. Romana from MyMakeupOrganizer, who showed that the lovely perles have landed to our shores earlier that expected! (November 2014) As you’ve seen before in my previous posts, I mentioned that this Météorites is part of my birthday wishlist and OH MY how happy I was when I get to have this early! So this Météorites is (obviously) LIMITED EDITION! Ugh. As always. The prettiest things are hard to get. LOL.

What They Say :

♥ These legendary pearls has been specially designed to enhance the complexion after nightfall under the lights of evening

♥ Has a delicate violet fragrance, inimitable and totally addictive

♥ Swirl your Météorites Pinceau (Météorites Brush) around the tin and apply the powder evenly to the entire face to set your make-up. For radiance boost, sweep it across your face by tracing a “g”  from the center of the forehead towards the top of the cheekbone, then from the bridge of the nose towards the chin.

HAUL // Accumulated Haul feat. Chanel, YSL, NARS, Dior and more!

Hello hello!

These past few months I have been getting some stuffs from the US and KL also from the duty free shops. So let’s jump in!

Last month I ordered some stuffs at Sephora and Sigma Beauty and through a forwarder company called ComGateway. At Sigma, you can purchase using international credit / debit card as long you have activated the 3D secure payment code. While in Sephora, they only accept US credit / debit cards. But… not to worry, ComGateway can help you to purchase from US online shops that doesn’t accept international cards. I used the ‘BuyForMe’ service from ComGateway. Just FYI, they will charge you 10% of your purchases for their service fee. Then after they purchased it for you, the items will be delivered to their warehouse and you can then choose to deliver it to your country either by FedEx or DHL. For more info check out their website and if you have any inquiries, you can have a chat with a customer service associate who are very friendly and helpful.

OK carry on with the haul :

Sigma Beauty :

  • F80 Flat Kabuki Brush (Copper – 5 years anniversary edition)
  • F35 Tapered Highlighting Brush (Copper)
Sigma Beauty Brushes - F80 Flat Kabuki Copper Brush & F35 Tapered Highlighting Copper Brush

REVIEW // Dior Summer 2014 Transat Edition : Diorskin Nude Tan Golden Shimmer Powder Face & Décolleté (Limited Edition)

Hello Hello!

It might be too late to do a review on this particular limited edition Dior piece since it came out about 3 months ago, but what the heck right? At first, I wasn’t planning to get this when it came out because I don’t really wear highlighter so much on a daily basis, but oh my, I started to see it on my Instagram feed everyday. Could this be a sign? LOL. Anyway, so few days ago I decided to get it, I then went to Sephora to look for it, but it’s out of stock (being limited edition = limited stock). And on a one fine day when I was browsing on my Instagram, I saw an IG shop selling this and they just posted it up, so I messaged Alia of The Fashionette Sisters on whatsapp, immediately placed my order with her. Boy, I was so excited that finally I’m able to get it! Then about 2-3 days later, it finally came in to my mail! It was delivered by Pos Laju. I was like an overly excited kid opening up her christmas present. LOL.
