I’ve been slacking here on my blog but when I do come back, I’m bringing you some pretty-ness for your viewing pleasure. And by that, I mean some makeup porn is coming!
LONG POST AHEAD
Getting on to the review, it’s going to be all Chanel. They just recently launched their new summer 2015 collection named, COLLECTION MÉDITERRANÉE. I reckon it’s summer in some parts of the world, hence coming out with the summer collection, but here in South East Asia, especially in Malaysia, it’s always been summer all year long, well with the exception of seasonal pours. Launched together with the summer 2015 collection is the new Les Beiges collection. I’ve been very lucky to be able to snag one ‘First Class boarding pass’ to hop on to ‘Chanel Airlines’ to check out their new launches. It’s just their marketing strategy btw, but heck yes, it definitely sounds oh-so-fancy.
First up is Chanel’s Summer 2015 ‘COLLECTION MÉDITERRANÉE’. In the collection, Chanel came up with 5 new (LE) shades of their Stylo Eyeshadows, one pretty purple shade for their stylo yeux waterproof, 4 shades of their Le Vernis(s) (nail polish), 2 of their lip glosses, 4 shades of their Rouge Coco Shines and the most pretty one, that illuminating bronzer called ‘LUMIÈRE D’ÉTÉ’. I’m actually surprised that the bronzer came to Malaysia because Guerlain doesn’t launch their bronzer collection to Malaysia (Terracotta line).

Next on the agenda, is the 2015 Les Beiges Collection. Within this set, Chanel released 2 new healthy glow multi-colored powder, same idea like last year’s multi-colored powder just different pattern, also released in this collection is the new les beiges healthy glow powder in no. 25, an in-between shade 20 and 30. But the most awaited one is the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick, basically a cream blush stick. It has 3 different colours, 2 of them (no. 21 & 22) are permanent while 1 of them being limited edition (no. 20).

Hello hello! I know there has been a lot of posts, whether it be on Instagram or on the blogosphere, about this tiny colored pearls. But I just had to pour out my thoughts on the Guerlain Météorites Perles De Blush Angelic Radiance. It’s part of the Spring 2015 Collection titled, “Les Tendres”. It was released in Malaysia about 2 weeks ago and Isetan KLCC was the first to house it. And from what I heard from people who have bought the Météorites blush, they are not happy with what they’re getting as it’s also quite pricey (around the same price like the normal Météorites). They thought that the packaging was … blah. All because Guerlain decided to go back to the old cardboard packaging. And not to mention it’s also a lot smaller than the normal Météorites packaging. But then again, it’s a limited edition item, for people who are crazy about their balls, umm Météorites i mean, and who are a makeup collector, this item is a must buy.
What They Say :
♥ Météorites Perles de Blush, the celestial accomplice of the divine Météorites, infuses cheeks with soft, evanescent pink. A magical blush that recreates the glow of a complexion bathed in springtime freshness: this is the exceptional promise of Météorites Perles de Blush, a small technological wonder, a hybrid blush that combines color, freshness and radiance.
♥ A harmony of 3 pearls: a fuchsia that revives the natural color of the cheeks, an iridescent champagne that illuminates the curve of the cheekbones and a rose petal pink that gently refreshes the complexion.
♥ These charming mini Météorites pearls embellish the complexion with the sheerest touch. In a swish of the brush, the three shades blend together and become one on the skin, diffusing a unique glow for cheekbones infused with radiance. The guarantee of an angelic complexion in one stroke!
♥ A delicate violet fragrance, inimitable and totally addictive
♥ Use the Pinceau Météorites to take the right measure of powder. Apply the powder on the cheeks to reveal the angelic radiance of your complexion.

So last week I posted a picture of Guerlain’s new release, which is the Poudre De Soie highlighter in my Instagram. I first saw this item also in Instagram from a user in the Middle East. She said that it was a Middle East exclusive item. And I thought it wouldn’t come to Asia. But boy, I was so wrong! Then a few weeks later, I saw another Instagram post by Mymakeuporganizer, my oh so reliable source for everything makeup. She posted that Guerlain’s 2015 Spring ‘Les Tendres’ collection is out in Malaysia. And I saw in her post what looks to be the highlighter but I only can recognize it by the cover of the item as it was plain white-cream-ish color. And few days later I went to Isetan KLCC to check it out, and not to my surprise, the BA told me that they only had very limited stocks of it in store (4 pieces left). So without any hesitation, I grabbed the highlighter. As I thought I would skip on the Meteorites Baby Glow and the Meteorites Compact Powder because those two are permanent item, so I can get them some other time. And the Meteorites blush, I didn’t get it that time. But I still want it. So hopefully it’s still available when I wanna get it.
Okay, so moving on to the review. I didn’t see much posts of this particular item in the blogosphere and there’s no information on this item in Guerlain’s website. So I don’t know what are their claims on this highlighter.

It might be too late to do a review on this particular limited edition Dior piece since it came out about 3 months ago, but what the heck right? At first, I wasn’t planning to get this when it came out because I don’t really wear highlighter so much on a daily basis, but oh my, I started to see it on my Instagram feed everyday. Could this be a sign? LOL. Anyway, so few days ago I decided to get it, I then went to Sephora to look for it, but it’s out of stock (being limited edition = limited stock). And on a one fine day when I was browsing on my Instagram, I saw an IG shop selling this and they just posted it up, so I messaged Alia of The Fashionette Sisters on whatsapp, immediately placed my order with her. Boy, I was so excited that finally I’m able to get it! Then about 2-3 days later, it finally came in to my mail! It was delivered by Pos Laju. I was like an overly excited kid opening up her christmas present. LOL.
