Hello Hello! It seems like I haven’t been reviewing eyeshadow palette for a while now. Well here ya go!
Morphe Brushes has been a household name for quite sometime now thanks to the big youtuber out there who has been raving about the brand (and get paid, let’s get real ok). And it gets me curious on what’s the hype all about. Loads of them said that it’s uber pigmented and you get more bang for your bucks as you get 35 shadows with only $22.99 (RM 130-170, depending on from which online seller you buy it) for the whole palette. Well the price point is truly right as it’s very affordable as opposed to say, Urban Decay’s Naked Palette which is now RM 215 (SAY WHAT?!). Well without any further adieu, let’s get on to the review, shall we? 🙂
Hello hello! I know there must be a LOT of review posts of this Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip Liquid Lipsticks by other blogger but if you do stay around with me then.. *kiss kiss* THANK YOU! I lub yu ♥
Again with the liquid lipstick hype, comes Colourpop Cosmetics’ Ultra Matte Lip collection. It’s been out in the market for quite a while now and it’s getting a wholelotta’ love especially since it’s soooo affordable ($6) in contrast to the market price of most mid to high end liquid lipsticks ($19-20).
For the Ultra Matte Lip (UML) liquid lipsticks, Colourpop provides a wide array of shades ranging from nudes to deep dark vampy shades (which is now all the hype!)
Sorry for the long absent here! I’ve been busy and got caught up with some college stuff this past few weeks. As usual. On a happier note, I can now dedicate my time to blogging more stuff! Hip hip horray!! Okay enough blabbering, let’s get on to the topic here.
YSL Le Teint Encre De Peau has been the talk of the town for awhile since its launch last year due to its incredibly satin smooth and lightweight texture, and to my knowledge, YSL doesn’t have any counter here in Malaysia but what I heard is that YSL is planning to open one this year but I’m still doubting it. However, they do have one counter in the KLIA duty free shop, but when I travelled back to Jakarta last December, I was told that the Fusion Ink Foundation was supposed to be launched somewhere in 2015. So let’s hope my fellow make up lovers in Malaysia will be able to grab one soon. Anyways, I was lucky enough to get my friend to grab it whilst he was in Europe.

Now, I actually wanted to post this so long ago but last week was exam week, so yeah. But never mind, this will make up to the lateness. HEH. So few weeks ago, I showed my haul and I mentioned that I’ve been wanting to try the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation for so long. I actually went to Chanel Makeup Studio Counter in Parkson Pavilion few weeks before I finally bought it, I asked for a sample but they only have samples of foundations in the shade B 20 only, which was 1 shade lighter than my skin tone. But I just wanted to try it and see how it reacts on me and how it feels so I just went for it and tried it. So after much consideration, I finally take the plunge and get it.

So last weekend I went to a Dior workshop in Parkson Pavilion Mall KL. It was free of charge and you get to have a Dior Star makeover plus a 1 on 1 session with Dior Makeup Artist. Well, the MUA that did my makeover was Zaidi Zain, he was very friendly and informative on explaining to me how to do a proper skincare routine and makeup application. You can ask him to do a specific look or just tell him to do whatever look he feels suitable, but I chose for a subtle smokey eye look cause smokey eye is the one thing I just can’t master! Ugh.
So I finally got my hands on the Guerlain Météorites Perles D’Étoile (earlier) which is part of Guerlain’s 2014 holiday collection. I got so excited when I saw an Instagram post by a fellow makeup lover, Ms. Romana from MyMakeupOrganizer, who showed that the lovely perles have landed to our shores earlier that expected! (November 2014) As you’ve seen before in my previous posts, I mentioned that this Météorites is part of my birthday wishlist and OH MY how happy I was when I get to have this early! So this Météorites is (obviously) LIMITED EDITION! Ugh. As always. The prettiest things are hard to get. LOL.

♥ Swirl your Météorites Pinceau (Météorites Brush) around the tin and apply the powder evenly to the entire face to set your make-up. For radiance boost, sweep it across your face by tracing a “g” from the center of the forehead towards the top of the cheekbone, then from the bridge of the nose towards the chin.

So last month I purchased a new mascara from Dior : Dior Addict It-Lash. Prior to the purchase, I’ve got the sample from Sephora. I used it every single day and I LOVE IT. Here’s why :
What they say :

♥ Its soft and supple elastomer brush coats the full length of lashes and the entire fringe for sensational volume. Its spiked tip catches even the tiniest lashes on the bottom and in the far corners, for that perfect doe eye.
♥ Its formula combines waxes that go on thick with a clear gel base for pure and radiant colour. Rinsable, it is easy to remove with warm water or classic makeup remover
